If you are a teen between the ages of 14-18 and are having sex or thinking about having sex, Teen Health Services at Central District Health may help you get the answers you’re looking for. All teens are welcome regardless of identity, sexual orientation or ability to pay.

SERVICES OFFERED:

Health Information

Abstinence, Pregnancy, STIs and Healthy Relationships, or any other reproductive health issue.

Pregnancy Testing

Testing, counseling and referrals for prenatal care.

Family Planning, Wellness Exams, STI & HIV Testing
Information, Evaluation, Testing and Treatment of STIs, Reproductive Life Planning. Many forms of birth control are available.

Immunizations

Review your history and provide the vaccines you need.


COST
Most charges are based upon ability to pay. A sliding fee schedule makes the majority of the services affordable to low income clients. We accept cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, debit cards, Medicaid and insurance.

PARENTAL INVOLVEMENT & CONFIDENTIALITY
Your privacy is important to Central District Health. We follow the regulations of HIPAA – The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act. All clinic visits will remain private between the patient and the clinic provider.

Parental involvement is encouraged, as parents can be a positive influence on a teen’s health and well-being. However, neither parental consent nor notification is required for a teen to receive services. Idaho Code 39-4502 & 39-3801 & 39-4503.

All information gathered is kept strictly confidential and no personal information will leave the clinic without client permission. Parental consent for the Hepatitis B vaccination is required for those under 14 years of age.

Central District Health and the CDH Call Center will be closed on Monday, February 21, 2022 in honor of Presidents' Day.

ORDER FREE AT-HOME COVID-19 TESTS

For FREE at-home COVID-19 testing kits, visit COVIDtests.gov. CDH also recommends people contact pharmacies and check with online retailers to inquire about current inventory and go to the doctor for diagnostic testing if they’re feeling sick. Additionally, many Idaho urgent care centers are offering asymptomatic and travel-associated testing.
