Other Vaccination Initiatives
In an attempt to better reach specific priority groups, CDHD will soon begin distributing about 3200 doses of vaccine to a number of pediatricians, obstetricians and pharmacies, for use with highest risk patients and customers. In addition, Boise State University will receive its first shipment of 1000 doses of vaccine for students at highest risk of serious complications of flu infection.
Officials with CDHD will be assessing the vaccine supply this week and next before making decisions on the resumption of school-based vaccination programs.
