Change in Meal Providers
Effective June 1, 2009 the Central District Health Department is no longer providing senior nutrition programs in Ada and Elmore counties.
The Idaho Elks Rehabilitation Hospital in Boise will be providing Meals On Wheels and Dining Center meals in Ada County.
The two Senior Centers in Elmore County will provide meal services to seniors in Elmore County.
For most senior nutrition recipients there will be no difference in service.
How It Works
Dining Centers offer seniors age 60 and older the opportunity to eat a nutritious meal and socialize with their fellow seniors.
