Culinary Walk-About - Our Chefs

Eating food grown and raised in Idaho means more than just eating fresh, local, quality products, it also means you are supporting local farmers, ranchers and food processors. Idaho Preferred® is a program of the Idaho State Department of Agriculture dedicated to identifying and promoting Idaho food and agriculture products.

The chefs participating in the Culinary Walk-About will be using Idaho Preferred® products. But their dedication to shopping locally and using quality products extends beyond this one event. Most of them use Idaho Preferred® products at their restaurants every day, and you can use them at home. Just look for the blue and gold label at your local grocery store or farmers market, and enjoy the finest products around – those grown and processed right here in Idaho.
