Change in Providers

Effective Monday June 1, 2009 the Central District Health Department is no longer providing Senior Nutrition Services in Ada and Elmore counties.

The Idaho Elks Rehabilitation Hospital in Boise is now providing Meals On Wheels and Dining Center meals in Ada County.

The two Senior Centers in Elmore County are handling senior nutrition programs for residents of Glenns Ferry and Mountain Home.

How It Works

The main purpose of Meals On Wheels is to provide nutritious meals and nutrition education for people sixty and older who are homebound and unable to prepare meals.
