Strengthening Families - 8 class series

Presenter: Daleen Nelson, RN, PHN Nurse Consultant
“Strengthening Families” is a series of 8 classes.  The focus is well described by the title.  We will look at ways child care providers can become more family-centered.  With a foundation of the family-centered approach, bonds among family members, childcare providers, and staff will increase.  We anticipate a fun experience in which your facility, children and their families, and you, as childcare providers and individuals will benefit if you implement the tools offered.  For this series, it is better to have as many members from one facility attend as possible so numbers will not be limited from each facility as they normally are.  Each class builds on information from the previous class so do try to attend all in the series of 8.  I suggest you organize car pooling, team up to stop for fast food, or bring pot luck.
