STIs including chlamydia, gonorrhea, hepatitis B, syphilis and HIV are reportable conditions in Idaho.

Offices of Communicable Disease Control staff are responsible for data collection, confidential case investigations and patient education. Medical providers can also consult with staff about appropriate treatment of STIs.
